IESI’s work in this area seeks to promote the efficient, equitable and sustainable use of natural resources. We help communities protect and restore forests, freshwater and marine ecosystems to sustain their services
for generations to come and to develop resilient local food systems. Working at the intersection of ecology and economics, our research and analysis support a thriving economy and society, healthy and productive natural systems, and community resilience to the impacts of climate change.
